Forest Spiral

Forest Spiral

Metallic acrylic, structural paste, and structural gel on canvas

60 x 60 cm

Waldspirale explores the hidden architecture of nature through layered organic forms and earthy textures. Inspired by an overgrown tree structure in the forest, the composition reveals rhythmic circular shapes reminiscent of growth rings, waves, or living landscapes.

The work was created with metallic acrylic, structural paste, and structural gel on canvas. The combination of these materials produces a multi-layered surface with tactile depth that reflects light differently and further enhances the organic effect.

The interplay of browns, creams, and muted autumn tones creates a quiet tension between decay and renewal. The almost hypnotic repetition of forms invites the viewer to discover ever new details and layers within the image.

Moving between abstraction and realism, Waldspirale acts as a mirror of natural processes — growth, change, and connection. The work portrays the forest not merely as a landscape, but as a living system full of movement, time, and memory.
