Signature of the Wave

Based on my own photograph, taken where the Baltic and North Seas meet, this work captures a unique moment: for fractions of a second the spray traces a fleeting form into the air — the signature of the wave. Metallic acrylic and structure gel lend the water depth, texture and reflections of light, making the dynamism of the sea tangible.
